Hombroq Peak Expedition is a journey through the world-famous Karakoram Mountain range to the summit of the peak that is at an elevation of 6,459 meters. Hombroq is located in the north west of Hushe Valley in the Ghanche District of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. The Peak is still unclimbed many Expediton tries to scaled but fail due to its challenging and some time bad weather and lucks.
Some of the highest peaks in the world are also located in this region including Laila Peak, K6 and K7.
The Karakoram Mountain Range is a massive chain of mountains across Pakistan and China that hosts one of the greatest mountains of the world including K2 and Gashabrum. It is 500km long and 200km wide and connects with Hindu Kush and Himalaya Mountains at few points.
The best time for the ascent to the summit is during the Summers of Pakistan between May to August. The journey to the summit starts from the Hushe Valley, Gilgit-Baltistan.
