Laila Peak Expedition

Laila Peak Expedition

Laila Peak stands out as one of the most stunning mountains in Pakistan, if not the entire world, thanks to its summit’s impeccable needle shape. The peak is renowned for its western face, characterized by a gradual descent at almost uniform gradients, resembling a massive ramp. On the contrary, its northern and eastern sides feature steep granite formations that provide a striking contrast. Situated east of the Gondogoro Valley and west of the Chogolisa Valley in the Masherbrum Mountains of Baltistan, Laila Peak is a breathtaking spectacle often encountered after crossing the Gondogoro La from Concordia and the K2 base camp.
