K2 (Choghori) Expedition

K2 (Choghori) Expedition

K2, a source of pride for Pakistan, majestically towers to an awe-inspiring elevation of 8,611 meters (approximately 28,250 feet), resembling a colossal pyramid. This magnificent peak, often referred to as “The Little Tibet,” resides in the remote northern province of Baltistan, sharing its border with China, with the international boundary cutting directly across its breathtaking slopes.

Renowned as the world’s second-highest summit, K2 has captured global fascination for both its imposing stature and the remarkable feats achieved by mountaineers worldwide. Accessing its base camp requires traversing the perilous and adventurous terrain of the Baltoro region, a journey that demands meticulous planning and unwavering determination.
